Biography:

The Wicked Witch of the West is a fictional character most famously known from the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz.

She is portrayed as the malevolent ruler of the western part of the Land of Oz. Driven by a thirst for power and vengeance, she relentlessly pursues Dorothy Gale to retrieve the magical ruby slippers previously worn by her deceased sister, the Wicked Witch of the East.

Her primary goal is to obtain the slippers and use their power to overthrow the benevolent Wizard of Oz and seize control of the entire land.

The Witch is ultimately defeated when Dorothy accidentally splashes water on her, causing her to melt away.
